The Abraxas Counseling Center located in Columbus Ohio, serves males and females, ages 12 – 18 with substance abuse issues. The Center offers two service tracks: Outpatient and Intensive Outpatient along with individualized programming. Every client is assessed prior to admission in an
effort to determine the most appropriate services to meet his or her needs.
The Abraxas Counseling Center can be utilized as a step-down option for male clients discharging from our residential program in Shelby, Ohio.
Our treatment approach is designed to address the holistic needs of our clients by offering gender specific, individual, group, and family counseling as well as case management services and random urine screens.
After completion of Phase I, each client is assessed for continued treatment needs in conjunction with the family and/or referral agency that could include Phases II.
The Center is easily accessible to public transportation and incurs the cost of each client’s travel expenses.
