Located in Erie's residential community, the facility offers short-term staff secure residential treatment for clients who have behavioral problems and have been involved in drug alcohol use/abuse.
Program curricula include individual and group counseling, Narcotics and Alcoholics Anonymous groups, life skills development, recreational/social activities, therapeutic services, and community service projects. The program has access to a wide range of medical and psychiatric services as provided through service agreements with area hospitals and physicians. Clients attend a Pennsylvania Department of Education approved private school.

What personal items am I permitted to bring? Personal pictures of immediate family, appropriate clothing, and hygiene items limited to stick or roll-on deodorant (no spray), shampoo, toothpaste, soap or body wash (no alcohol based products or baby powder permitted).
Who can visit me and when? Immediate family members may visit you after two weeks. Visits are every other weekend. All visits must be pre-arranged.
Can I earn home passes? Yes, with a minimum of 45 days in treatment, only when they are part of your treatment plan, and with approval from your counselor and probation officer/caseworker.
Can I make phone calls and whom can I call? Yes, one 10 minute call per week to parent/legal guardian. Staff members administer the phone calls. Once on Status 3 you can earn an extra 5 minute call per week.
Can I send and receive mail? Yes, you can send and receive mail. You will be required to open incoming mail in front of a staff member for security purposes.
Can I earn my high school diploma or GED? Yes, we provide educational services on-site, year round. We offer credits that are transferable to your home school, Special Education classes and GED preparation and exams.
Will I have the opportunity to do community service? Yes. Everyone has the opportunity to do community service on grounds, and depending on privilege status, community service may be performed off-site.
Can I get a job on or off program grounds? Yes, we offer a job training program in our school through which clients can earn money towards their restitution. No off ground jobs are permitted.
Will my family be involved in my treatment? Yes, family involvement is strongly encouraged and is an integral part of treatment and reintegration. All treatment plan updates, quarterly reports, and court progress reports will be sent to the parent/legal guardian. Family sessions with counselor are scheduled bi-weekly.
Will you provide transportation to the program once I am committed? Yes, we provide in-state transportation.
